To make the required 50% deposit payment, please enter "1" in the quantity field for Online Order Payment (disregard any individual ticket prices that may appear), and select "ADD TO CART." If you would like to pay your balance in full, please enter "2" in the quantity field for Online Order Payment. You will be prompted to enter your contact and payment information once your reservation payment has been added to your cart. Your receipt will be delivered via the email you provide during payment.

Adult Swim
Presented by Great Dane Pub & Brewing  

Adult Swim Admission: Enjoy all of your favorite Adult Swim activities, with a special themed twist! General admission includes access to museum exhibits, live music, games, plenty of arts and crafts, and a little bit of friendly competition. $20 advance; $25 day of event. 

A la carte add-ons do not include general admission to Adult Swim, and may only be redeemed in conjunction with an Adult Swim admission ticket. 

You will be required to present a printed or electronic copy of your ticket(s) and valid photo identification to gain admission to this event. Adult Swim is 21+ only.

Magical Mystery Camp:

4 days: August 28–31, 9 AM–3 PM each day.  Ages 6–10.

MCM Gift Cards

Give the gift of MCM! Gift cards to Madison Children's Museum never expire, and are valid year-round for admissions, programs, memberships, birthday parties, gift shop merchandise and more. 

A $2.50 processing fee will be applied to each gift card issued. If you are experiencing problems adding a gift card to your cart, please check the calendar above and ensure that today's date is selected.

Basic Party Package

• Exclusive use of MCM’s Celebrations room for a two-hour party, with an additional 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the party for setup and cleanup. 
• Museum admission for up to 40 people, including hosting family and birthday child. Additional guests can be added for $7 per person. Admission is for the whole day, so guests can arrive before the party and stay afterward. 
• Tables covered with paper (with crayons provided for table art) and seating for up to 25 people. Additional picnic-style seating is available on wood risers. 
• Napkins and reusable plates, cutlery, and cups for up to 40 people. (Reusable is more sustainable and makes cleanup easy for you; our staff will collect and wash them.)
• Personalized “Happy Birthday” message on the museum’s Welcome Wall.
• An MCM staff party attendant to help with setup and cleanup, and be your liaison with the museum on the party day.

Deluxe Party Package

• Everything from the Basic party package.
• MCM birthday party coloring poster: Kids love our coloring murals in the Art Studio. This party includes one poster-sized coloring mural for your guests to fill in, sign, and give to the birthday child as a souvenir. Crayons for coloring are provided.
• MCM Gift Bags: Each child can take home a gift bag filled with one MCM color-changing reusable cup, an MCM birthday party coloring book, crayons, an MCM temporary tattoo, and a guest pass (value $12) for one child admission to MCM. 

To ensure adequate staffing, parties must be booked 14 days in advance!

Infants:

Babies under 1 year old do NOT need a ticket.

Barcoded tickets:

Your barcoded tickets will be emailed to you. Be on the lookout for an email with subject line "Your Barcoded Tickets". You must present these tickets at the Admissions Desk when you arrive to check-in.

Gift Cards, Coupons, Other Discounts:

Come to the admissions desk to use gift cards, coupons, Access admissions, reciprocal memberships, etc. We are not able to transact these online. Check which reciprocal membership benefits may apply to you here.

Ticket Exchanges:

No refunds can be issued. Tickets may be exchanged once at no charge for a future date. The request for an exchange must be made via this Ticket Exchange Form at least 24 hours in advance of your originally scheduled date. Your patience is necessary and greatly appreciated, as this exchange system is human powered, not automated.

Pro Tips:

• Visit in the afternoons when we're less busy!
• Weekdays when school is in session are especially great for a quieter visit.
• Have your barcodes ready to go when you get in line to speed up your check-in when you reach the Admissions Desk

Sign In:

Members must sign in ("sign in" link, at top right of page) to claim free member tickets. 

Members Only:

These tickets are for persons belonging to your membership. Do not claim tickets for guests here—see below. Babies under 12 months do NOT need a ticket.

Parties with more than 6 members listed on their membership:

Some memberships have more members than this webpage can handle. Claim your first 6 tickets here, then bring everyone to the museum on your visit day. Tickets will be issued for your additional members at the front desk.

Guests:

Family/Family Plus/Wonder Maker memberships include a number of guest passes which may be redeemed at the front desk for persons in your party not listed on your membership. (Do not claim tickets for guests here.)

If your membership does not have guest passes available, regular-price tickets for your guests may be purchased at the front desk.

Sign-In Trouble:

Members must sign in to claim free member tickets. If our website isn't recognizing you as a member, or if you experience other difficulties, fill out this Trouble Form.

Cancel Tickets:

If you're unable to visit at your reserved time, fill out this Member Ticket Cancelation Form to release your tickets for others to use. Then book yourself a new visit via the Member Ticket Calendar.
