General Admission

Madison Children's Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. Please see our website for more information about hours and admissions.  


All attendees will be required to present a printed or electronic copy of their ticket(s) to gain admission to the museum. All tickets are delivered via email. 

Admission tickets purchased online do not expire, and may be used for general admission during regular operating hours on any day that the museum is open to the public.


Reduced admission rates are available to qualifying families through our Access for Everyone program. Check our AFE webpage or call (608) 256-6445 for more information about eligibility and pricing. Reduced-price tickets are not available online, and must be purchased at the museum.

Adult Swim Admission: Enjoy all of your favorite Adult Swim activities, with a special themed twist! General admission includes access to museum exhibits, live music, games, plenty of arts and crafts, and a little bit of friendly competition. $12.75 advance; $15 at the door. 


A la carte add-ons do not include general admission to Adult Swim, and may only be redeemed in conjunction with an Adult Swim admission ticket. 

You will be required to present a printed or electronic copy of your ticket(s) and valid photo identification to gain admission to this event. Adult Swim is 21+ only.

Deluxe Party Package: $300

Everything from the Value Party Package
• Custom design or decoration on cake
• Favor bags for each attendee child (includes bubble game, clay pack, mini parachuter, finger eyes, jumbo poppin' hopper; items of equal value may be substituted) 
• VIP Treatment for the birthday child, including a museum name tag, a signed birthday card from the rooftop animals, and a family admission pass for a future visit (one day of free general admission for up to 4 attendees)


A la Carte Upgrades:

Gift Card: Online Sales

 

MCM Gift Cards

Give the gift of MCM! Gift cards to Madison Children's Museum never expire, and are valid year-round for admissions, programs, memberships, birthday parties, gift shop merchandise and more. 


All gift cards are posted within two business days of order placement, and are shipped directly to the purchaser via USPS First Class mail. A $2 processing fee will be applied to each gift card issued. If you are experiencing problems adding a gift card to your cart, please check the calendar above and ensure that today's date is selected.

Member: Ticketed Events


Member Event

Registration is free and open to current museum members only; all attendees must be listed on a valid museum membership. Due to the popularity of this event, and to ensure that as many of our members are able to attend as possible, we will not be opening ticket sales to non-member guests.
